Join us in this hands-on, foundational herbalist series incorporating practical medicine-making skills as well as exploring an in depth overview of working with plant medicine to promote a balanced and healthy lifestyle. These classes will inspire budding and blossoming herbalists alike to get their head, heart and hands into plants as medicine, to start creating their own apothecary at home. Each class will include a hands-on demonstration, where participants will be guided through making an herbal product to take home every time!

Intuitive Healing & the Taste of Herbs Sunday, April 21, 1p-3p
This class sets a solid foundation for understanding the unique properties of plant medicine and how to incorporate them to achieve balance in each individual person. Through sipping tea, we will explore the 6 tastes of plants and their corresponding actions in the body. Then, together as a class we will develop a delicious tea blend for everyone to take home!
Healthy Skin from the Inside Out Sunday, May 5th 1p-3p
Your skin is a telltale sign of your true inner health: wounds, scars, chronic conditions, allergies and flare-ups. This class will demonstrate how to use herbs to make healing oils and salves, as well as internally, to heal our skin both from the inside and out.
Kitchen Medicine: The Root of Health Sunday, May 19th 1p-3p
Preventative medicine starts in the kitchen with healing herbs and foods. In this class, we will discuss the medicinal benefits of culinary herbs and the digestive system as the root of health. We'll be making the tried and true health tonic, Fire Cider, for everyone to take home and experiment with!
Spirit Medicine: Managing Stress & Mental Health Sunday, June 2nd 1p-3p
We all have our ups and downs and periods when our soul needs comfort. Come learn ways to use herbs and essences to help the body cope with stress and grief as well as nurture mental and emotional balance. We'll send everyone home with a freshly made, local flower essence.
Tincture Making 101: Preserve Your Medicine Sunday, June 16th 1p-3p
Tinctures, or alcohol extracts, are a very convenient and effective form of plant medicine, used to address a variety of ailments, especially acute conditions that require immediate attention and ease of use. Come learn the ins and outs of tincture making to build up your home apothecary!
Syrups & Immune Health Sunday, June 30th 1p-3p
This class will discuss how to use herbs for immune health - from cold & flu season, to allergies and even autoimmune conditions. We will also explore how to make and use syrups as potent and versatile herbal medicines!
